This
film is visual meditation on violence, and desire. Powerful and
suggestive, the film resonates in the darkest areas of the viewer's
unconscious, being reminiscent of a partly remembered powerful
dream.
In two contrasting sequences shot in predominantly red and green,
rapid montage sequences and barely perceived images, are cut to
a tightly edited and processed electronic soundtrack, inducing
a discomfort with implied violence.
The
imagery is suggestive of a longer scenario that we only partially
glimpse.
This
film was made as a psychological sketch for the Shadow
character of feature length film project 4ps.
