Shot using
multiple surveilance cameras,and using heavy superimpostion and
a tinted pallette, this short promo film gives a dense and dark
dreamy feel to accompany the haunting music and Sonja's mesmersing
voice.
The complex
moving and dense overlayed imagery makes the film continually
intriguing, as it is difficult to view the film the same way twice
- as each frame contain as many an six simultaneous moving images.
People who view it together often see completely different things.
Included as
part of an enhnaced CD for her album Cri
De Coeur, the film focuses on a performance of Sonja Kristina
and the band and the song itself – a haunting opera aria
by Menotti.
