A
collaboration with Michael
Nyman and artist Antoni Malinowski.
This spilt screen film was shot in St Pancras Station London,
the film documents a painting installation made in 1992 by Antoni
Malinowski.
The
painting in red and blue on either side of a station entrance,
has remained in tact for over ten years.
The
film shows each side in one rotation of the camera which moves
from floor to ceiling, with the atmospheric rumble of the station
tannoy and train noises.
Michael
Nyman composed a new piece of music using elements of the exisiting
station soundtrack.
The
film installation was in London at the gallery Gimple Fils in
London in September 2002.
