Shot in Banagalore, India in 2002, the double screen film is projected and integrated with choreography alongside a live web cast of a dancer who peforming directly from from Bangalore.
Processed using 1970's analogue equipment, the film has a cartoon like quality of an animated screen print, in stark contrast to the dark dense feel of the music composed by Donnacha Dennehy. This work was 'remixed' in the form of a live video performance in 2007 at Blackheath Halls under the name "Voicelands". Two live sopranos sing against an electronic score, and stand flanking the live remixed video in a dynamic 35 minute work.
