This body of work on film and video was made from 1991 to the present.

The works are made on 16mm, Super 8, Hi 8 Video and DV Cam.
The works were made for screening in cinema, on stage, gallery installation and internet.

Stylistically the work looks extremely varied. I now think of these films as a pallette. It provides me with a wide range of styles, ideas and techniques which I refer back to, and find myself unconsciously repeating.

Works such as Summer of Lo[ve]ss and I Shadow follow similar looks but are made on Super 8 and Video respectively. As I move forwards I find I can now begin to link across different periods and find common ground between works made many years apart.

The works range from more narrative [End Beginning/Central Control/Karosta Episode 1] to music and image based works [TG03/03/03 / I am not afraid/ I Shadow] which culminate in the recent collaborations in the field of dance film for stage and screen [hinterland/phantasmaton/faultline/round 10]

Although theere is a distinct section in this site for the field of 'Locative Media' and 'Documentary', 'Karosta Episode 1' , 'Crystal Punk Manifesto','Central Control' and work in Madagascar are all films and inter relate to the Locative Media in various ways - Geo Cinema helps to describe this link.
